The Frigidaire cook top works fine but the grates of the cook top is higher than my previous cook top so maybe there is some heat loss when cooking. The other day there was a spill in the well of the cook top I noticed that some of the water had seeped into the drawers below where i store my pots & pans. Wondering if this would happen every time liquids spilled while cooking.

Should have kept electric

1st 6 months it was nice, after that a knob stopped moving and was fixed under warranty. Now year 2 another knob won™€™t turn and have to light another with a match. Not happy with this product.

Knobs are giving me nightmare

I bought new build house 2 years ago. And still had to buy total 5 knobs in these two year including the two I just bought today. So total 5 knobs more than 300 dollars I bought each around 45-49 dollars since pricing keep changing. I am thinking to change this cooktop now since everyone is complaining about it. We replaced an electric Jenn Air cooktop. We decided to switch back to gas, which we haven™€™t cooked with for years. We had forgotten how heavenly gas burners are to cook with. They heat a pan up faster and when you turn it off the heat is gone so your doesn™€™t continue to cook. The price was great and it really looks sharp.

Purchased this over a year ago but the cheap plastic control knobs started cracking and falling apart within the first year. When I was finally able to talk to one of your representatives they were sympathetic but told me all I could do was purchase new ones at $55 a piece! And that is for the same pieces of junk. Out of the four we still have two that barely function ( one of them is cracked) and having problems with the igniter! Going Shopping for anything but Frigidaire today. Would have given you a zero but won™€™t allow it

We bought this range about a month ago at Lowes. Two of the knobs already broke. Trying to get someone from customer service is a huge challenge. We actually purchased a full set of kitchen appliances and are regretting not going with Samsung which we've always had a good experience with.

I bought this as a replacement for another brand glass cooktop. It heats faster than the old one and the pans and pots are very easy to move from one point to another within the top. I was worried about how easy it will be clean not being glass but it proved me wrong as it cleans easily.

broke in 2 weeks and won't return

I had trouble igniting all burners then one burner would not turn off and I had to shut the main gas down. Very unhappy with product and company will not accept a return- will only fix it. I want to get a different cooktop and they refuse to allow this. Said the return policy at the store is 48 hours. It was not even installed until a week after it was received here!

Had all white appliances previous to adding new kitchen countertops and chose black cooktop. the stainless steel version had the best reviews, but we love the look of the black. We had a Frigidaire gas range for years so we were sure this cook top would measure up. It is even better! We installed most of it by ourselves then had a professional hook up the gas line. We are so pleased and highly recommend this cooktop. Not only looks beautiful, it cooks like a dream!

We've have enjoyed our cooktop for about a month now. It looks great and is extremely functional! We like the continuous grates as it is easy to slide pots and pans around during food preparation. We like that the bigger burners are up front as it makes it easy to slide the pots back to the smaller burners when it's time to simmer the dish. This also opens up the bigger burners back up when preparing multiple dishes at the same time, in other words, you don't have to reach over the simmering dishes as you can just slide them to the back. In this price point it was hard to find this burner configuration, it was the main reason we purchased the Frigidaire and we're very satisfied w/our purchase. Also the two removable grates make for easy cleaning and the raised knobs are also easily cleaned and accessible.

This cooktop replaces a 21 year-old cooktop. The new cooktop has two features that I really like: the level grill and the electronic start. The repeated spark makes sure the burner lights up every time. Our old cooktop would regularly miss starting the flame if we turned the knob too fast.

We selected this gas cooktop primarily for the layout - two large burners in the front, which we felt was most practical for everyday use. We are happy with 4 burners, and we believe the cost savings versus 5 burner models is worth it. Chose black finish instead of stainless steel to avoid discoloration, but it takes some effort to keep the black cooktop streak-free and shiny. Four stars for a solid design that gets the job done but doesn't quite wow. Have yet to determine if this holds up over time.

Unhappy with cooktop, Bought from lowes special order, Bought a month ago, grates are nice being big, but heavy. Lifting to clean causes scratches on cooktop, cooktop scratches very easy, cleanup very hard esp only with soap and water. Large burnner knob quit turning (could not move) have been told its a bad valve defected It was called in for warranty April 22, I'm still waiting on repair as of mother's day. Knobs can turn on easy on. no lock out on knobs switch.

Took a while to get this installed, as it took some time to come in after ordering, but of the 3 new appliances I purchased, this one is the only one I really like. The quick boil burner is definitely worthwhile. The large grate area is also a plus, I don't feel like I'm balancing my pots and pans on small grates.
